The UAE market
Seven emirates, one country, very different hotel markets.
Across the UAE, hotels recorded 79.5% occupancy and AED 49.21 billion in revenue in 2025, with 217,000 rooms in more than 1,240 establishments[1]. The national strategy aims for 40 million hotel guests and AED 450 billion of tourism GDP by 2031[2]. Abu Dhabi alone welcomed 26.6 million visitors in 2025 and reached 81% hotel occupancy[3], and it is working towards 39.3 million visitors a year by 2030[4].
The first half of 2026 showed how differently the emirates move. After the regional conflict that began in February, Abu Dhabi's occupancy was 66.8% for the half against 80.3% a year earlier, while Dubai's fell to 56.4% and Ras Al Khaimah's to 49.3% from 72.6%[5]. Fujairah had started the year with hotels reporting 95% to 100% occupancy[6]. A national average hides all of this, so we plan by emirate, by property and by source market.

India is your closest large market
In 2025, 26.3% of the 32.71 million outbound departures made by Indians went to the UAE[8]. India was Abu Dhabi's largest source of hotel guests, with 436,124 guests and growth of 22%[3], and one of Ras Al Khaimah's key growth markets at 14%[7]. Our team is based in India and plans around how Indian families, couples and groups search and book.
Three OTAs take most online bookings
Among OTA hotel bookings placed from the UAE in 2024, Booking.com took 54%, Expedia Group 21% and Agoda 18%[9]. We keep those listings competitive and give guests clear reasons to book with you instead: better inclusions, quick WhatsApp answers and a booking engine that works on a phone.
Guests want to message a person
In a 2024 YouGov poll for Zbooni, 85% of UAE residents wanted businesses to offer WhatsApp, and 87% would rather deal with real people than chatbots[10]. We set up WhatsApp so automation handles routine questions and your reservations team takes over whenever judgement is needed.

Case studies
Great team to work with. Adaptive as Ottawa is a very unique market and they have learnt very quickly. Great initiative taken to explore and make a big impression in the market.
Through their OTA listing, optimization, and revenue management services, we have seen significant growth in our revenue.
We have hospitality clients in nine countries, the UAE included, but we don't yet publish a case study from Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Fujairah or Ajman. We'll share references that fit your property when we speak.
Emirate by emirate
Five emirates, five different plans.
Each emirate has its own guests, seasons and reasons to visit. This is where we start, before your own booking data takes over. For properties in Dubai, see our two Dubai pages.
| Emirate | What the numbers show | Guests we'd prioritise | Where we'd focus first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Abu Dhabi | 5.9 million hotel guests and 81% occupancy in 2025, with hotel revenue up 19.5% to AED 9.1 billion. India, Russia, the UK, China and Saudi Arabia were the top five markets[3]. | Indian families and groups, UK and European culture-and-beach travellers, and Saudi and GCC weekenders. | Search by source market, Hindi and Arabic creative, and packages tied to the events calendar. |
| Ras Al Khaimah | 1.35 million overnight visitors in 2025, up 6%, with MICE and wedding revenue up 25%; the target is 3.5 million visitors by 2030[7]. Wynn Al Marjan Island is due to open in September 2027[11]. | Leisure guests from India, China, the UK and Russia, plus wedding parties and corporate groups. | Beach and adventure stays, dedicated wedding and MICE enquiry routes, and listings strong enough to hold their place as new resorts open. |
| Sharjah | 2.1 million hotel guests in 2025, up 22%, across 102 hotels and about 10,700 rooms, mostly mid-tier; 78% occupancy, an ADR of AED 305 and an average stay of two nights[12]. | Value-minded families, visiting relatives and short-break travellers. | Local SEO, OTA ranking, short-break offers and family-focused content. |
| Fujairah | Hotels reported 95% to 100% occupancy at the start of 2026, according to the Fujairah Department of Tourism and Antiquities[6]. | UAE residents on short breaks, and visitors drawn to the east coast's mountains and beaches. | Resident weekend campaigns, rate protection on peak dates and direct booking for repeat guests. |
| Ajman | We don't cite a published 2025 figure for Ajman here, so we plan from your own booking data and competitive set. | Budget-conscious families and UAE residents, plus guests who want a beach stay close to Dubai and Sharjah. | Google Maps and OTA visibility, clear value messaging and WhatsApp-first enquiries. |
Guest priorities are starting assumptions for planning. Your own guest data sets the final plan.
Source market focus
Winning more guests from India.
India deserves a plan of its own. The UAE took 26.3% of Indian outbound departures in 2025[8], Indian guests were Abu Dhabi's largest hotel market with 22% growth[3], and Ras Al Khaimah reported 14% growth from India[7]. Where those guests arrive through OTAs or tour operators, the relationship and the repeat booking stay with someone else.
Our team works from Gurugram and markets hotels to Indian travellers every day. We know the booking windows around long weekends, school holidays, Diwali and the wedding season, the questions families ask before they pay, and how much a fast WhatsApp reply matters to them. We bring that knowledge to your UAE campaigns.
- Search and Meta campaigns aimed at Indian cities with direct flights to your nearest airport
- Hindi and English creative, with prices shown clearly in dirhams
- Group, wedding and family enquiries routed to your sales team the same day
- Travel-agent and corporate contacts kept in your CRM for repeat business

UAE-wide rules
What every UAE hotel campaign has to get right.
Federal rules apply in every emirate, while local fees vary. We check both before a campaign goes live.
Consent for guest data
Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 bars processing personal data without the owner's consent, apart from set exceptions, and gives people the right to restrict or stop it[13]. Our forms and opt-ins record consent clearly.
Permits for creators
Since 1 February 2026, anyone making social media advertising from inside the UAE, paid or unpaid, has needed a UAE Media Council advertiser permit; visiting creators obtain theirs through accredited agencies[14]. We only book creators who comply.
Limits on sales calls
Marketing calls may only be made between 9am and 6pm, and anyone listed on the Do Not Call Registry is off-limits[15]. Call lists and follow-up schedules are built to match.
Local tourism fees
Fees differ by emirate. Dubai's Tourism Dirham ranges from AED 7 to 20 a night per room depending on hotel category, while Ras Al Khaimah hotels add AED 15 per room per night[16]. We show prices the way guests will actually pay them.
Ramadan and Eid timing
Leisure demand usually softens during Ramadan and returns at Eid[17]. Because the dates move each year, we adjust budgets, creative tone and offers as they are confirmed.
WhatsApp done properly
WhatsApp is how most UAE residents would like to reach a business[10]. We use the official Business API, opt-in lists and approved message templates, so broadcasts reach people who asked for them.
How it works
The first three months.
Tracking comes first, so every later decision rests on real enquiry and booking data.

Your website, booking engine, Google listing, OTA rankings, reviews and ad accounts, compared with hotels in your emirate and the Dubai properties your guests also consider.
- Weeks 2–3

Which countries, cities and guest types to target each month, with tracking for calls, WhatsApp, forms and bookings in place before spend begins.
- Weeks 3–6
Go live
Search and hotel price ads first, then OTA content fixes, WhatsApp flows, social campaigns and SEO, all sending guests to your own booking engine.
- Month 2 onwards

Questions
Hotel Marketing Agency UAE: FAQs.
Something else on your mind? Call +91 95018 68775 or email us.
Which emirates do you cover?
We market hotels in Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, Fujairah and Ajman, and in Dubai through our two Dubai pages. We've had UAE hospitality clients alongside clients in India, Oman, the UK, the USA, Canada, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Australia. We serve UAE clients remotely from India and don't have an office in the Emirates.
Our hotel is in Dubai. Is this the right page?
Dubai hotels and hotel apartments are covered on our Hotel Marketing Agency Dubai page. Groups that also run restaurants, beach clubs or holiday homes in Dubai should see our Hospitality Marketing Agency Dubai page.
How do you market a hotel outside Dubai to guests who are searching for Dubai?
Many guests start with a Dubai search and then compare. We target those searches with your real advantages, such as beach space, mountain views, quieter surroundings or value, and send people to landing pages that answer the travel-time question honestly. Misleading location claims waste budget and earn poor reviews, so we avoid them.
Can you help us reach more guests from India?
Yes, and it plays to our strengths. We're based in India and run campaigns for Indian travellers every day. We target the right cities and seasons, write in English and Hindi, and route family, group and wedding enquiries to your sales team quickly.
We're opening a new hotel in Ras Al Khaimah. When should marketing start?
Ideally six to nine months before opening, so your website, booking engine, Google listing and OTA profiles are ready and pre-opening offers can build a list of interested guests. With large new resorts on the way, a clear early position matters more than a big launch budget.
How do you handle Ramadan, Eid and the summer months?
We plan them a year ahead and adjust as dates are confirmed. Budgets usually ease during Ramadan, with iftar and family offers for residents, then rise for Eid. In summer we lean on resident staycations and GCC families, and use the quieter weeks to test new source markets.
Will an AI chatbot put guests off?
It can if it stands between them and a person. Most UAE residents in a 2024 survey preferred real people to chatbots, so we use AI for instant answers on rates, availability and directions, and hand over to your team for anything more involved.
Will a team in India keep to our working hours?
Gurugram is 1.5 hours ahead of Abu Dhabi. When your team arrives at 9am it's 10:30 for us, and our afternoon covers the rest of your working day. Your named account lead keeps a live dashboard up to date, answers on WhatsApp through the day and books a monthly video review in UAE hours.
What does the free growth plan include?
A written review of your website, booking engine, Google listing, OTA content, reviews and any ad accounts, with the priorities we'd tackle in the first 90 days and how we'd measure them. There's no obligation to work with us afterwards.
