How Indian resorts sell
Resort demand in India comes in waves. Your marketing should follow them..
Most Indian resorts live on short trips from nearby cities. Delhi NCR drives to the hills of Uttarakhand and Himachal, Mumbai and Pune head for the Western Ghats and the Konkan coast, and Bengaluru makes for Coorg and the Nilgiris. Fridays, long weekends and school holidays fill early. Monday to Thursday, the monsoon and the weeks after a festival take real work.
Those same guests have more choice than ever. Outbound travel by Indian nationals reached 32.71 million departures in 2025, up 5.9% on the year before[1]. A resort in Rishikesh, Coorg or Goa now competes with a short international break as well as with the property down the road, so your marketing has to make the case for the trip, and for booking it with you directly.
24×monthly enquiries for Naad Wellness, from 23 to 556[2]
4,467enquiries in 10 months for The Rudraksh, at ₹41 each[3]
39×direct enquiries a month for EBC Mussoorie in season[4]
32.71Moutbound departures by Indians in 2025, up 5.9%[1]

Your profit sits in the nights that don't sell easily
Peak dates fill without much help; the nights in between decide your year. We build offers for guests who can travel midweek, such as retirees, remote workers, wellness guests on longer programmes, corporate teams and couples avoiding weekend crowds, then put budget where those guests are searching.
A resort sells far more than rooms
Therapies, retreats, weddings, day visits, team offsites and festive packages each need their own page, ad and follow-up. Naturoville's campaigns send each search to a dedicated page for therapies, programmes, stays or destination weddings, which is part of how its enquiries grew 9.5× on almost the same budget[5].
Bookings start with a conversation
Resort guests in India want answers before they pay: pool timings, meals, pet policy, the state of the road. Many bookings begin as a call or a WhatsApp chat. We track each one, help your team reply quickly through a shared inbox and AI chat, and follow up with guests who went quiet.
Where resort marketing usually goes wrong, and what we change.
Without it
- Weekends full, weekdays empty, and the same offer running all year
- One booking page for rooms, spa, weddings and day visits alike
- Calls and WhatsApp chats nobody can trace back to an ad
- OTAs earning commission on guests who first found you on Google
With Fielmente
- Campaigns and packages planned around your slow dates, month by month
- A page, an ad group and a follow-up for each thing you sell
- Every call, chat, form and Book Now click tracked to its source
- Search, Google profile and WhatsApp routes that lead to your own booking engine

Case studies
We have used Fielmente for all our marketing and advertising needs since December 2021. It has been a very professional and smooth experience. They listen to our needs carefully and then plan accordingly.
Through their OTA listing, optimization, and revenue management services, we have seen significant growth in our revenue.
These figures come from each resort's own Google Ads account, comparing set periods before and after our changes; turning enquiries into stays also depends on how quickly the resort's own team follows up.
Seasonality
Planning a resort year in India.
Resort demand here follows school calendars, festivals, the weather and the wedding season. The table is general guidance; your own booking data always comes first.
| Period | What usually happens | Marketing priority |
|---|---|---|
| April to June | School holidays send families to the hills, and hill resorts fill quickly. Plains and beach resorts face the heat. | Hill resorts protect rate and sell longer stays. Plains and beach resorts push pool-led weekday and staycation offers to nearby cities. |
| July to September | The monsoon. Demand dips in most regions, and weather or road news can put travellers off. | Monsoon and wellness packages, long-stay and workation offers, corporate offsites, and honest updates on access and weather. |
| October and November | Demand returns after the rains, with Diwali breaks and festival long weekends. | Festive packages, early-booking offers for winter, and search budgets raised a few weeks ahead of each long weekend. |
| December to February | Peak for Goa, Rajasthan and the plains, plus the heart of the wedding season. Christmas and New Year are the busiest dates in most regions. | Hold rate on peak dates, sell weddings and groups, and use the busy months to grow your WhatsApp and email lists. |
| March | Holi weekends and spring breaks, while the beach and plains season winds down as temperatures climb. | Spring and wellness retreats, then a review of the year and a content shoot for the season ahead. |
Every resort's curve is different. EBC Mussoorie's strongest enquiry months run from October to April, for example, so we plan from your data before any calendar.
Resort types
The resorts we market, and what each needs.
The channels are similar. The offers, timing and messages are not.
Weekend getaways near cities
Resorts within a few hours' drive of Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru or Hyderabad. We target drive-time searches, run weekday and day-outing offers, and sell team days to nearby companies.
Wellness and Ayurveda retreats
A page for every therapy and programme, a consultation call before booking, and longer stays. This is the approach behind our Naturoville and Naad Wellness results.
Hill and mountain resorts
Summer family holidays, winter and snow breaks, and monsoon offers. Honest notes on roads, weather and altitude build trust with first-time visitors.
Beach resorts
A winter peak sold at full rate and a long monsoon to fill. We plan Goa, Kerala and coastal campaigns season by season, for guests from India and abroad.
Wedding and event resorts
Separate campaigns and pages for weddings, sangeets, offsites and conferences, with every lead sent straight to your sales team.
Jungle, safari and adventure camps
Activity-led content and packages around safaris, treks and rafting, timed to park seasons and school holidays.
Groups and midweek
Selling weddings, groups and midweek stays.
A wedding or a corporate offsite can fill a resort for days, but the enquiry looks nothing like a room booking. Planners ask about lawns, room blocks, menus, décor and dates months in advance. We give these guests their own pages and ads, capture the details that matter through a form or a WhatsApp flow, and pass each lead to your sales team within minutes, with its source attached.
Midweek demand needs the same care. People who can travel on a Tuesday form a different audience from weekend families: retirees, remote workers, wellness guests and small companies planning a team day. We reach them with search terms, audiences and offers that weekend guests never see, so a weekday deal stays a weekday deal and your Saturday rate holds.
- Wedding, event and group pages with capacities, spaces and photos, tracked apart from room enquiries
- WhatsApp follow-ups for planners who ask for a quote and then go quiet
- Weekday-only offers shown only to audiences who can use them
- Lead-to-stay reporting in the Eazotel CRM, as we set up for Naad Wellness

How it works
From audit to a fuller calendar.
We start with the dates you find hardest to sell, then build outwards.
- Week 1
Audit the year
Last year's occupancy by month and day of the week, your website, Google profile, ads, OTA listings and reviews, and how fast enquiries are answered today.
- Weeks 2–3
Packages and tracking
We agree offers for your weak periods with your team, build a landing page for each, and set up tracking for calls, WhatsApp, forms and booking clicks.
- Weeks 3–6
Launch for the next gap
Search campaigns go live first for the next soft period, followed by Meta ads, Google profile updates, OTA fixes and fresh content.
- Month 2 onwards
Scale with the season
Budget rises in the months when enquiries are cheapest and eases back when you're full, guided by your occupancy, as we did for EBC Mussoorie.

How is resort marketing different from hotel marketing?
A resort sells an experience and several products at once: rooms, meals, treatments, activities and events. Guests also travel further and plan around weekends and holidays. So we build campaigns, pages and follow-up for each product and each season, and judge success by occupancy across the whole week.
Can you help us fill weekdays and the monsoon months?
Yes, and it is usually the first goal we agree. We work out which audiences can travel on your slow dates, build offers for them with your team, and run those campaigns separately from weekend demand so discounts stay where they belong.
Do you work with wellness and Ayurveda resorts?
Yes. Two of our published case studies are Ayurveda and wellness properties: Naturoville near Rishikesh and Naad Wellness in Delhi NCR. Both grew their enquiries many times over after we rebuilt their landing pages and tracking.
Which parts of India do you cover?
All of India. Four of our five published case studies are from Uttarakhand, and the fifth is in Delhi NCR, but our campaigns can target travellers from any city and we've also worked with hospitality businesses in eight other countries.
Should we keep selling through OTAs?
Yes. OTAs bring guests who might never find you otherwise. We keep your listings, photos and rates strong there, while growing the share of guests who book through your website, Google profile and WhatsApp, where you pay no commission.
How soon will we see more enquiries?
Fixes to search campaigns and landing pages tend to lift enquiries within a few weeks. Organic rankings, reviews and social content take a few months to build up. In our case studies, the biggest jumps came once tracking and landing pages were fixed.
Can you market our resort for weddings and corporate events?
Yes. We build separate campaigns and pages for weddings, offsites and conferences, with forms and WhatsApp flows that capture dates, guest numbers and requirements, and send each lead straight to your sales team.
Do you provide the booking engine and CRM as well?
Yes, through our sister platform Eazotel, which more than 120 hotels use. You can run its booking engine, CRM and WhatsApp tools alongside our marketing, or we can work with the systems you already have.
What do you need from us to get started?
Access to your ad accounts, Google Business Profile, website and analytics, last year's occupancy by month, and one person who can approve offers quickly. We handle the rest.
